Misfits Media Group, LLC, a Las Vegas web design & Internet marketing firm, was founded by Ron Gerber, an award-winning 14+ year veteran in eCommerce operations, eCommerce web design, search engine marketing, internet marketing, direct marketing, and mail order/catalog operations.
A Bit of History...
In 1992, Ron started Savanna Jones, a traditional mail order catalog company targeting the automotive aftermarket industry, selling parts & accessories directly to Jeep and SUV owners. In early 1994, before the Internet craze took off, Ron was at the forefront of the web revolution, ahead of competitors, bringing Savanna Jones online and morphing it into a highly successful eCommerce company. Over eight years, Ron grew Savanna Jones into a successful multi-million dollar brand, with customers in over 55 countries worldwide. In 2001, Savanna Jones was sold to its largest competitor.
Due to a limited budget, Ron wore many hats when starting Savanna Jones. From running the daily operations to personally designing and producing the print catalogs (4 of which won "Best Mail Order Catalog" awards), from merchandising and marketing, on to designing and developing the company's e-commerce sites, Ron gained a tremendous wealth of hands-on experience on multiple fronts:
